Hobby Courses on Astronomy
 

Astronomy Club in School

ASTRO provides the following Hobby Courses on Astronomy:

1. Foundation course on Astronomy

Duration: 3 months

Fees: Rs. 1500

Mode of Instruction: English

Eligiblity: above 12 years age

2. Diploma course on Astronomy

Duration: 6 months

Fees: Rs.2000

Mode of Instruction: English

Eligiblity: above 14 years age

3. Advance diploma in Astronomy

Duration: 12 months

Fees: Rs 3500

Mode of Instruction: English

Eligiblity: above 16 years age


Note: (Separate details for the courses can be provided on request.)

The course material for the above courses would be provided by ASTRO Education Services. After completion of course, ASTRO will conduct on examination of students/ members (at their city only) in which they have to obtain a score of 40% and above to get the certificate/diploma.

The form for seeking admission in any of the course can be downloaded from website. The form is to be send back along with two photographs, duly filled along with fees of the choosen course through Demand Draft/ Cheque in favor of ASTRO Education Services. After getting the fees, the students will receive ID Card, course material and membership of Astronomy club. The student who qualifies the examination for the choosen course, will become life member of ASTRO Education Services.

(These courses are autonomous and are not approved by AICTE/ UGC)
