ASTRONOMY STUDY TRAINING AND RESEARCH ORGANIZATION
Astronomy is the oldest science. Space and time were nothing before the universe came into existence some 12 billion years ago. We have discovered this only very recently-In the first quarter of the last century. Since then our knowledge about our cosmic play ground is growing in leaps and bounds. So much so, that now, we are not just content with understanding life on earth, but have begun our search for it on other planets and beyond,in the distant stars.
The Universe is a big place, it's bigger than our towns, cities, country, continents and planets; Infact it is much bigger than any thing our imagination could ever conceive. |
